BRIEF: To create a modern stylish home, suitable for a family with growing children, whilst still respecting the style of the building and era.
CONCEPT: Modern relaxed family home, blending the origins of the Arts and Crafts home with modernity, drawing inspiration from the simplicity of Lutyens’ Drago Castle, and use of vernacular materials such as stone and iron
SCOPE: Architectural Interior Design; design of kitchen, laundry, all bathrooms, loft floor, all spaces, lighting design; procurement of all fixtures, fittings and furnishings, window treatments
NOTABLE: Extensive use of beautiful marbles and semi-precious stones in the project, in contemporary formats, teamed with steel, oak joinery and parquet flooring; Crittall windows; steel and marble stairs. Timeless furnishings suitable for family life, including pieces from 1930’s inspired Soho Home, as well as bespoke pieces.
