A Kensington family home, built in 1693 by and for the builder who created and built most of Kensington’s first square. Complete refurbishment of Grade II listed 5 storey house.

BRIEF: To create a modern comfortable family home within the beautifully detailed shell of the pre-Georgian building, juxtaposing contemporary simple pieces against the stunning original features.

CONCEPT: Muted tones, and pared back furnishings in only natural fibres, to let the bones of the property shine through, mixing bespoke furnishings in iron, suede, hemp, silk, leather and oak

SCOPE: Interior Design of all spaces, lighting design; procurement of all fixtures, finishes, fittings and furnishings, window treatments

NOTABLE: The house features an original ballroom, as well as an adjacent wig room, used for dressing for the ball, and now changed to music rooms, studies and dressing rooms on the various floors.
